I'm glad he's better. Curry is one easiest guys to like on YES. I agree! You get YES in Chicago? I can get YES as part of a sports package that Direct TV offers but the actual games are blacked out since I don't live in the NYC area. It's not part of our normal programing lineup. I get all the games on YES through the extra innings package so that's were I see Curry.

I enjoy YES's coverage of the Yankees for the most part.

I do too. It was mentioned during the Rays series how much better the direction and production of the YES broadcasts are compared to TBS. The replays YES gives you are outstanding, I know I sometimes take them for granted.

What are we going to do with ourselves now Yankee baseball is over, Chi?

That’s easy. Play the replays over and over in your mind. Think about the “what if’s”. Fix all the problems. Remember glories of years past, not to mention the years that didn’t go so well. Go to BR and review career numbers of your favorite Yankees (and others). Baseball never ends. It only pauses to give us time to catch up, and to miss it...

Former Yankee short stop Tony Kubek is still With us on this, his 85th birthday. Kubek retired from playing at the tender age of 29 due to a neck condition that had the potential to paralyze him.
He had planned to retire to Wisconsin to manage a chess factory when an unexpected job offer landed in his lap. Kubek was a generally shy person who didn’t enjoy interviews, and doubted he could do a good job, but he was convinced to give it a 6-week trial. He stayed on the game of the week broadcasts for 24 years before going home to Wisconsin.
Hail Tony! ...

In 2002, Sturtze led the AL in losses (4-18), hits allowed (271 in 224 innings), earned runs allowed, bases on balls, and batters faced pitching. All while pitching for the Tampa Rays...
