Benintendi traded to KC in a three way deal with the Mets. I'm glad he won't be playing as much at Yankee Stadium, he had a lot of success there. I always though Benintendi would be good in Pinstripes, batting from the left side in Yankee Stadium. A Brett Gardner type. Not quite as good defensively but a bit better offensively. |

Yea, inger's been Heller's biggest fan. I like Heller too, he has a great arm, but he just can't stay healthy. I'm guessing he gets claimed by someone, there's a lot of bad pens out there. Here’s a news item that slipped by the wayside. With all the concern about DJ, Gary, Brett, and Trevor Bauer for this year, I have not signed a contract to keep providing Bronx Bombers with quality content past opening day in 2021.
In fact, my last contract was signed under the HeAmyHa flag, which officially makes me an employee of HeAmyKarl1958 and affiliates. That’s a bit frightening, so I’m going to walk over to the library sometime later this morning to see what rights I may or may not possess...

I dreamed last night that we suddenly had a mass return of former posters as well as quite a few new guys. Now if that happens, I’m taking credit for it...

Red Sox sign Marwin Gonzalez. So Marwin Gonzales confuses me. He was a utility player who was considered under rated until became a regular player that didn’t show quite enough bat to remain a regular, which made me consider the he might be over rated. He plays a lot of positions, so does that mean he’s good enough to play all of those position well enough be able to play any position he wants to, or is it that he can’t play any position so they can keep his “okay” bat in the line up. Is he a Swiss Army knife or a blow out patch? He hit .211 last season, but I think he’s better than that. My point is that I’m glad the Yankees didn’t get him, because I don’t want to have to think that hard about our players... |
