Managers have been traded before, so the answer is yes. We could...

Slavery is only legal in the US for sports. Not a good example of slavery. Boone makes millions of dollars per year. He works for a an entity called Major League Baseball. People that work for large corporations of all sorts are handed mandates that force them to move or lose their jobs. I have no pity for players that are traded, DFA’d, etc.. They know what the business is when they become baseball players. If they don’t, they gotten poor advice...

I'm not sure if Trevor Bauer is interested in pitching for the Yankees or if he wants it to appear that they are involved in his free agency to drive up the price. He keeps saying that he's cool with Cole, but I've yet to see Cole say the feeling is mutual. I think this clown would get shredded by the media within a few weeks. Imagine if he played for the Yankees last year, and was trolling fan bases and acting the way he is on Twitter. Yankees fans would hate him. He gets a pass for some reason though. Also kind of funny that Stroman gets so much hate for being confident, yet people gobble up every bit of garbage that Bauer says.

Slavery has nothing to do with income. It has to do with voluntary versus involuntary.

Slavery is only legal in the US for sports. Come on Russ, don't you think this is a little insulting to those throughout history that were actually slaves?

Dear Sir: Please accept this, my application to become your slave at the salary of $30 M per year.

During the playoffs, the Yankees played seven games, won the majority of them, and outscored elite opposition by 14 runs. Last year, the Yankees played nine playoff games, won the majority of them, and outscored elite opposition by, again, 14 runs.

Pythagorean record means nothing in the playoffs! Ask the 1960 Yankees!

--10-15-20: www.mlbtraderumors.com/2020/10/latest-on-the-catching-market-realmuto-sanchez.html ... Realmuto will turn 30-years-old in March of next season, and any team that signs him will have to be aware of the threat the aging curve poses to his long-term productivity.
And yet, it’s not as if we haven’t seen productive offensive catchers in the past. Similar performers of the past can provide insight into how well Realmuto may age as he enters his thirties (and how much he might be worth over the life of that next contract), which the Athletic’s Tim Britton explores. Looking at a collection of catchers with similar career arcs to Realmuto’s, Britton lands on either a four-year, $96MM deal or a six-year, $128MM deal as the proper valuation for Realmuto’s services moving forward.
Each of Sánchez, Ramos, and Alfaro lost playing time down the stretch and in the playoffs to better defensive catchers. Sánchez in particular faced a rather public “benching.” As the playoffs wore on and Sánchez struggled to light a fuse at the plate, the Yankees increasingly went with Kyle Higashioka as their primary receiver.
Sánchez has another round of arbitration this winter after making a full-scale salary of $5MM in 2020, but the Yankees are likely to try and move him before the contract tender date of December 2nd, writes Sherman.
Given the state of the game amid the pandemic, rampant revenue losses make for a more uncertain winter than any in recent memory. The number of teams capable of luring J.T. may be limited if the price for entry is in the neighborhood suggested by Britton. James McCann and Mike Zunino represent the “best of the rest,” though the trade market could add a player like Sánchez to grease the wheels.
Take another look at our free agency preview, provided here by MLBTR’s Steve Adams, but it’s certainly going to be interesting to see the length, duration, and location of Realmuto’s next deal.

Man, it's kind of sad, after Bauer, I don't know who I want out of the remaining free agent pitchers. Our own guy, Tanaka might be the 2nd best out there and I'm not sure if I want him back. Any trade possibilities out there? Who would your 2nd choice be after Bauer?
I see Taijuan Walker mentioned sometimes but I don't like him. Don't think the Yankees like Stroman after what Cashman said about him. Not sure he would even come here after that. Too bad Bauer's history with Cole. It wouldn't be something hanging like a cloud over our heads.

Should’ve just kept Lance Lynn. He wasn’t all that bad that one season... now he’s turned into a horse that can pull the plow... innings are his oats...
