So much for the good start he got off to. It's sad how much Gary has dropped off with the bat. And, unfortunately, when his bat drops off, his defense follows suit. Probably not coincidentally, I have noticed an uncommon number of catchers getting spotlighted this Spring. That may be by design. Should Gary repeat his last season’s ineptitude, I wouldn’t be surprised to see some of the young guys be pulled up from the minors. What could it hurt, if Sanchez is hitting .190 and leading the league in passed balls? |

Make sense. At this point in their careers, Tauchman is more versatile. Bruce didn't show a lot in ST, but will find a team. |
