The Nestor Cortes jumped around, about, and off the mound like a frog on a hot plate, changing angles and arm speed, finally getting the save after a couple hits and a run in the ninth for a 4-2 Yankees win. Just tuned in during the ninth, but will probably watch the archived game to see German pitch.

German has looked great all spring and is locking up the 5th spot. Garcia has looked good too and the Yanks will need him eventually this season.

Sterling is 82 years old. I wonder how much longer he wants to keep doing this? Seriously. Every one gets on him but he's really quite lucid for 82. The great radio voice never leaves, he's just a little slower, which is understandable. |
