Jordan Montgomery has a very respectable 3.27 ERA, so it’s our new guys and German that haven’t earned their stripes. And, why in the world did the Yankees send down Pizza King after six innings of shutdown relief? I thought that would have earned him a start. |

My post apparently disappeared. Some funny things going on on the board today. Well anyway I said even though it's only 11 games this teams problem the last 4 years has been starters not going 5 innings and lack of hits with runners in scoring position. We cant even say half the team is on the IL this year either as Britton isn't a starter and I'm sure Severino won't be going more than 5 innings for a while once he returns since he's back from such a long layoff. Voit is really the only key offensive player missing. We will see what happens but it doesn't appear the yankees have fixed their problems and there isn't enough on the injury list to say help is on the way. |

It seems even with a new manager they still exist. |

But if he's not getting results on the field, what does it matter? |
