Great outing today for Deivi Garcia today. Hopefully he puts it all together and gets back to the big leagues soon.

Some other interesting names in that report, Desousa. Patrick used to sing the praises of Dermis Garcia and Donny Sands. It appears both have been bypassed in the organization to this point. I’m not sure if Sands has maintained his versatility tool set. If he can still play some third and maybe first perhaps he could sneak back into the Yankees catching plans at some point...

Six homers in 45 AB has to be a surprise. He’s an interesting one to keep an eye on...

“AA Tampa: Janson Junk: 4 IP, 1 H, 0 R, 2 BB, 5 K, 64 pitches (38 strikes). Junk has been fantastic in three starts, giving up just one earned run, racking up 10 strikeouts, and holding opposing hitters to a .192 batting average.”
Love this name for a pitcher!

Michael Kay was telling story a year or two ago about meeting Junk's mother while doing a Yankees game in Seattle. I think it was right after the Yanks drafted him.

Move DJ to second, Odor to a utility role or find someone else that can play second and hit above .160 and give Gittens a chance. The Yankees have won with their pitching. We need hitting. If Gittens doesn't work out we can always replace him with the .145 hitting Ford.
