The DP again. We’ve hit so many screamers to third this year. It seems every third baseman deserves the gold glove this year... it’s just incredible...

Maybe we can make Tampa pay for leaving these two runners on. Oh gods of baseball and Gardnerism. Let us strike up a rally, avoid the double play, make contact, make the runs come like rain...For our team only, by the way...

Gardner can't hit anymore but still plays a good CF. It’s really not his fault that the team needs him to start. We wouldn’t care about his hitting if he was here for late inning defense and an occasional start... His slugging % is below .250 and he's hitting under .200. That's not major league worthy, but he is one of the few everyday players that stays healthy. |
