I didn’t look at anyone else’s range ratings, just # of dps and fielding pct… Baez OBP would be of almost no concern to me if he is a strong defender. If he offers more offense than Tyler Wade, I’d be happy… Baez is fun to watch play shortstop. A tough, fiery guy that plays with passion and his heart on his sleeve. He gets to 0.63 more balls per game than the NL average SS. His fielding pct. is low at .955, but the NL league average is .966 vs. the .972 of the AL. Perhaps influenced a bit by NL scorers vs. AL scorers, which we have seen be lenient on Gleyber multiple times…ThT means that in a half season’s time, assuming equality of fielders in each league, Baez has gotten to some 64 balls and fielded them to completion than Torres… We also have to assume a similar number of balls in play to the shortstop, ground ball Estes and strike out rates to be similar for each pitching staff. Yes. Those are some of the problems inherent in fielding stats, but 64 additional potential opportunities are not to be sneezed at. If it was 10 or 15, I wouldn’t be impressed…

The guy I love on the Cubs is Willson Contreras. Excellent defensive catcher with an absolute cannon and quick release. He’s a leader and catches almost everyday. He never wants off the field (much like Jeter), and he may be the most athletic catcher I’ve seen. He can run the bases and plays all out, all the time. Tough and INTENSE. You mean he doesn’t walk to fetch passed balls?…

7.50+ ERA and climbing. They sent Abreu down for Wilson but at least Albert has potential. In his brief call ups this season, Abreu has 12 strikeouts in 12.2 innings, a 2.13 ERA and a WHIP of 0.711. Abreu didn't look overwhelmed like he did last season. He has a great arm and he's out of options after this season, I'd rather find out what we have in him than waste time with a guy like Wilson.

Can run the bases and is intense doesn't sound like Yankee traits to me.

He's also an aggressive base runner that takes a lot of chances, usually with success. At the plate is a different story. He as a lot of power and great bat speed, but will frustrate the heck out of you with his lack of discipline and wild approach. He would be a much better player if he wasn't such a hacker, but he's been like that since he's been in the league.

If he makes contact, he’s playing a defense first position. I don’t really care much… just somethings that are positive at the plate…

Not bumblebees. They just do what the Lord created them to do.

Not bumblebees. They just do what the Lord created them to do. Not many of them here in Colorado. They were thick in Maryland. I used to pet the ones that were high on pollen. Cute and furry little devils…

A good way to get stung. I would be surprised there are none - in Col. You might not see them. Some plants really can't reproduce well without them.

No one on this board has any idea what tapatalk is except me and you, anthony. I most certainly do. It’s an app and you tap it to talk… geez… think the elderly are stoopit??? lol, I never mentioned anything about the elderly. I love older folk, they know the most from experience. I love all the old geezers on this forum. Taught me so much about baseball I would never even begin to learn by myself.
I was simply stating that no one uses tapatalk to view this board except anthony. Even I don't use it.
