I stated a few times, not to put this on anyone, but if I were to choose, I'd say it comes down to the manager. Let him go the rest of the year, get a better draft pick, and then start a new. The higher ups don't have the balls to remove Boone now. No offense, but I don't understand this point. This team on this pace is either going to be the 2nd WC or finish somewhere within 5 games back. They are no where near as bad to be worrying about raising their draft status. The draft pick wasn't the point of my statement. I mean the team isn't going to take out the problem (Boone imo) and as a bonus we are probably going to get a better draft pick as a result. So, I think Boone is the problem but am content with keeping him for the year and slightly benefiting from it. (i.e. Slightly better draft pick.) |
