Boone has cost this team at least ten wins by always pushing the wrong buttons. I stated a few times, not to put this on anyone, but if I were to choose, I'd say it comes down to the manager. Let him go the rest of the year, get a better draft pick, and then start a new. The higher ups don't have the balls to remove Boone now. No offense, but I don't understand this point. This team on this pace is either going to be the 2nd WC or finish somewhere within 5 games back. They are no where near as bad to be worrying about raising their draft status.

If the Yankees can bounce back and make the playoffs after all these brutal losses, I'll be really impressed. They've been kicked and beaten a lot. They were 4-1 in the non Judge games after Wednesday they finish 5-4 could have easily been 7-2 though.

Went and walked the dogs thinking this is in the books. I need to stop thinking anything with this team. Boone needs to go and if not he needs a better pitch coach that should make the calls in relief. He obviously has no clue.

Boone hitter too late, again. By the time he put Britton in, it was too late. Boone came undone He didn’t know What we were headed for But when he found what We were headed for It was too late! Well done, inger! Even without your signature i could "guess who" wrote this.

Which makes this even worse, Britton came in and retired all three batters he faced, something he has struggled to do since he's been back, but it was just too late. Why bring in a ground ball contact pitcher with 0 outs and runners on 2nd and third? Excellent point.

These losses are just gut punches. Loser teams find ways to lose. And that's what the Yankees are right now. Their inability to hit with men on base also means their margin for error in later innings is smaller--although they should still be able to hold 4 run leads.

Yet they have over a 600 winning percentage in 1 run games make no sense.

To gripe about a 4 run lead, but the offense has had numerous chances in games this year to add on and we didn't. Thus the bullpen was extremely taxed in April and May, and now we are seeing it falter to no coincidence IMO. Today was no different, Stanton with a giveaway AB with bases loaded 1 out, then in 8th gleyber on 2B and Gardner on 1B, Gleyber decides to get picked off by a little league move. And the worst thing, there will be no repercussions from the coaching staff for that type of miscue, because it's happened time and time again and it's just "go get em next time." Yes we should hold a 4 run lead, any MLB can do that consistently enough, but when different parts of your roster malfunction consistently, you find yourself in close games far too often. That's unsustainable for a 162 season, which is why baseball is called a marathon, not a sprint.

Just a bunch of laid back millionaires going through the motions. Its been this way all season and starts with no emotion Boone.

Not sure if you can even blame fatigue today Losaiga had pitched once in over a week. Though I agree Green is probably the better choice.

I have no words anymore. How many more loses like this? Boone has the anti-Midas touch. I'm just shaking my head at this point.
