When Rizzo hit the sac fly, the Twins pitcher cut the throw off. I thought that was odd given that there were no other base runners. I didn’t see a play at the plate, but given that sometimes runners miss the base, why wouldn’t you let that ball go through to the catcher? … Anybody else see that? Agree? Am I too picky? …

When Rizzo hit the sac fly, the Twins pitcher cut the throw off. I thought that was odd given that there were no other base runners. I didn’t see a play at the plate, but given that sometimes runners miss the base, why wouldn’t you let that ball go through to the catcher? … Anybody else see that? Agree? Am I too picky? … They knew Gordon's arm was so weak that they gave up on it.  |

I had to look up Ron Gant. He had over 300 HRs and over 1,000 RBIs.
Jim Gantner played 17 seasons in the majors, all with the Brewers. I didn't realize he was around that long.
Gant shirts. A high school staple. I have no idea if they still exist.

Besties!!!! Even though it's the Yankees flagship station, WFAN is almost 100 percent Mets homers. I remember Sterling actually hassling one of their bozos about that. |
