Cashman should be fired for Odor, Gallo and Sanchez well for any one of them.

That’s because he’s way overused, as most of the bullpen is. That’s what happens every year with Boone removing starters after 4 and 2/3rds innings. If our starters pitched better that would be less likely. You really haven’t watched games this season, have you?

Its amusing that you can watch a team built around your philosophy that only home runs matters never batting averages, fail so dismally and not reconsider your views. The Yankees are never going to win a WS where 7 of the nine team members bat a collective .225 regardless of how many home runs they hit. Nuff said. This team isn't built around my philosophy at all. My philosophy isn't a team loaded with right handed hitters with only a couple of them being true power hitters. They need a left handed 1st baseman and left handed hitting CF or 3rd baseman with power. Adding guys like Gallo and Odor was a waste of time. Gallo was picked up exclusively because he hits home runs. Sanchez is only on this team because of that because that is all he could ever do. Virtually no one on this team was promoted because he had a good hitting average. And we never go after players with good batting averages ever. Which is why we have no offense. The only thing they ever consider is, can he hit home runs. Period.

Chi we should play a stratomatic game with the same pitcher. You pick guys that hit lot of home runs, but bat .225. I will find guys who bat .275 with few home runs. We can see who wins. In my line of work they call that monte carlo simulation.

They did this to themselves. Blowing that game open on Friday was huge. Not that a change of location erases 7 walks...

But it really bothers me that no one in management thinks batting average matters at all. So we end up with junk offenses like this one. I will shut up. My philosophy is not going to ever guide decisions with the Yankees. I have no illusions.

Also so sick of hearing the Alex Cora bragging the guy should be banned for life for cheating What did he do? His defense and the Green Monster bailed him out when he took his starter out too early. He was lucky to get out of that inning.
