1. Gleyber Torres 2B 2. Anthony Rizzo 1B 3. Aaron Judge RF 4. Giancarlo Stanton DH 5. Joey Gallo LF 6. Gio Urshela SS 7. Brett Gardner CF 8. Kyle Higashioka C 9. Rougned Odor 3B
What I'd do:

I hope your "What I'd do" lineup is the one Boone goes with. I'd also settle for Wade at third and Urshela at short, but I like your suggestion from a defensive standpoint better. Let Odor return to his best position of bench cheerleader. |

Let Odor return to his best position of bench cheerleader. Yea the possibility of Odor running into one doesn't outdo the better defense from getting Velazquez or Wade in there for me. I was also thinking about having Sanchez DH, Stanton to LF, Judge to CF, Gallo to RF, and Gardy to the bench. But Sanchez hasn't been hitting and Gardner has. Also, there's the defensive consideration so forget that. |

Boone and company love Gardy too much to sit him and DH a struggling Sanchez.
