Can't believe we're going to have to support the stupid Braves. The selection is slim no matter who gets in. Out of the four remaining teams, the Braves to me are the least objectionable. But watching Boston-Houston drove home to me how visceral my hate is for Boston. It pre-dates my dislike of Houston. As usual, it's aimed more at the fans and their media ass-kissers than the actual players, who aren't anywhere near as hateable as The 2004 Idiots. In that case I hated the team and its fans equally. Alex Cora pisses me off more than any of their players. The "Alex Cora Comeback Story" run by the media if they win will make me puke.

The Astros starting pitching has been an absolute disgrace in this series, they're not even giving them a chance.

After Houston's starting pitchers combined to pitch 5 innings in the first three games, allowing 12 earned runs, Greinke allows two runs in the first and is pushing 30 pitches.

Greinke lasts 1 1/3 innings. That means in four starts Houston pitchers managed to give 6 1/3 innings.

Even with the Yankees’ hitting woes, they had the arms to win a series, if our manager had a clue about developing starters and managing a bullpen. Boone believes the perfect scenario is using a starter twice through the order, then employing as many relievers as necessary to get through nine innings. The problem is the game is played with real people and not every relief pitcher will be lights out every night. And, starters can learn to pitch deep into games, especially on certain nights. Boone manages playing pieces, rather than the game and performances in front of him. Why else remove a reliever who just threw seven pitches to record three outs or fourteen to record six outs?

The Yankees will being sending information about all four to the analytics department to see if it would be wise to trade for them and attempt to adjust their arm angle over the winter. They can work them into Deivi’s class on Tuesdays and Fridays…

Astros come back and win. Yay? Anytime Fenway Park is silenced is good in and of itself. I'm trying to extract whatever small satisfaction I can from this dismal post-season.

Watched a little bit of the American League Cheaters Series while eating dinner. It's all I could stand. At least the Astros are winning 4-0.

That ditz doing Draft King ads is starting to bug me. Oh God, that's the only good thing about not watching baseball anymore. Don't have to deal with Jessie Coffield every single commercial break. Made me want to pull my hair out. Legitimately hate that woman.
