This GIF would have been perfect for the Astros fighting the Red Sox in the American League Cheaters Series:

One too many dots, it's 5-0. IOTOTAU! Here’s how it is. The line score was showing 5-0, but as I was closing the screen the 5 changed to a 6. Either the dot master totally screwed up, or a 6th run came in and was later disallowed. As a former dot watching aficionado, I have seen plenty of dot master screw ups. That’s my story, and I’m sticking to it. Other than that, I would assume it was Miss Scarlett that killed Colonel Mustard in the secret pass away, but the weapon she used was not one that is typical to the game… if you get my drift…

First off thrilled the Red Sox didn't win the ALCS they fell apart at the right time.
The Braves are an example again how long these seasons are and how it doesn't matter how good or bad you are playing before the playoffs. If you remember they were pretty much in the same spot as the Yankees at the ASB. They were 44-45 4.5 back of division 7 back of WC 2 while the Yankees at the same time were 46-43 8 back of division 4.5 back of WC 2. Similar to the Yankees they turned it around and made up the ground, but the Yankees after they made up the ground for whatever reason made stupid decisions to make them lose the ground they gave up.
Point is the Braves are an example of what the Yankees could have been this year so you are never out of it as long as you get in.

Charlie Morton pitched to three hitters with a broken leg. And, I thought Boone made poor lineups.

It's a bullpen game for the Braves for the next two games! They only have two starting pitchers left.

There's no hope for this game, is there? The game I loved has changed so much, I hardly recognize it. We'll probably never see another Jack Morris throw a 10 inning shutout game 7. Analytics is slowly suffocating the life out of baseball.

Yes. And still Snitker removed Aqualung Anderson after five no-hit innings and 76 pitches. There's no hope for this game, is there? The game I loved has changed so much, I hardly recognize it. We'll probably never see another Jack Morris throw a 10 inning shutout game 7. Analytics is slowly suffocating the life out of baseball. It is. You know in that classic game, Morris got into a bases loaded, one out jam in the eighth inning. Can you imagine any manager, let alone Boone, allowing a pitcher to work out of that? Yet Morris got a DP, and went on to win 1-0 in ten innings. In Game Seven!! The analytics department would have a collective stroke. How about Ralph Terry, Game Seven 1962 against a great hitting Giants team? Up by one in the ninth, runners on second and third, two out, left-handed slugger Willie McCovey against right-handed Terry. Houk lets him pitch, McCovey lines out to Bobby Richardson, the Yankees are champions. And just two years earlier, Terry in relief had given up Bill Mazeroski's Series-winning home run. We'll never see that kind of pitching drama again. No Koufax-Marichal death matches, no Seaver-Carlton duels, no Morris-Smoltz Game Sevens. Is that really a better game? Of course I still don't know why Houk didn't walk McCovey.😮
