Come on Castro. Don't walk batters and lock this inning down.

Swisher sounds right. Think we have them all now. Reggie, Rickey, Giambino and Swish. Nick Swisher is the worst post-season hitter, at least for the Yankees, I ever saw. Soriano was pretty bad in the postseason if I recall correctly. Soriano saw one outside corner slider after another. Never hit any of them.

Cool that you went to Cape May! By coincidence, my parents are going there the weekend after next! Any recommendations for that area?
Glad to hear your brother is doing well.
Yankee comebacks are an everyday occurrence these days!
My favorite bar is The Brown Room at Congress Hall Hotel. Very chic and cool ambiance. It has its original post-prohibition bar and a great list of cocktails. The Chalfonte also has a nice restaurant and bar. Very upscale but friendly. I love Cape May Point State Park. It's a nice nature center with an extended boardwalk through the marshes and a cool lighthouse. If they have any interest in birding or just a nice walk It's really nice. Just walking around downtown and enjoying the gingerbread architecture is fun in its own right. My grandparents owned a small hotel there for many years so we went there a lot. Unfortunately their hotel is no longer recognizable from their day. The closest I ever got to Cape May was when I bought a used car that had a Cape May bumper sticker. Amazing how many people ask if I lived there.

Adam Oller is my favorite pitcher. How many batters will he walk this inning?

The Brown Room is still cool even if you just get small plates and drink water. Congress Hall is a historic hotel -- many 19th century Presidents, including Abraham Lincoln, stayed there. Worth dropping in just for a tea or coffee. Cape May arguably has the greatest collection of Victorian architecture of any town in America. Too many good restaurants to enumerate. Do you have a go-to beach town in New Jersey? It used to be Wildwood or Seaside Heights when I was young. Does Atlantic City count? I used to go there all the time back when we all played Texas Hold Em and counted cards playing blackjack. Now its Asbury Park because a good friend of mine lives there.
Have you been to any of those places? Of course of you have, who am I asking? We always went into Wildwood from Cape May when we were kids. The boardwalk there was much more exciting than anything in sedate old Cape May. Great rides that I still remember fondly. Junk food Heaven-- James's Salt Water Taffy, Mac's Pizza, Kohl's Soft Serve, cotton candy, fudge-- everything! Atlantic City was in a bad way when I was a kid, pre-casino. My grandparents ALWAYS went to the Miss America Pageant. LOL. They took it very seriously. I like Ocean City. More under control than Wildwood. But for sure, Avalon, Sea Isle City, Stone Harbor, Margate, Brigantine-- I've spent a lot of time in all of them. I've been to Asbury Park, but it was a little far north for us. We used to take deep sea fishing boats out of Point Pleasant. Any place on the water works for me!

Don't use Holmes today. That means he won't pitch tomorrow against the Trashtros.
