Robert Palmer? Arnold Palmer? Are you old enough to remember the sportscaster Bud Palmer? I remember Larry "Bud" Melman, Bud Abbott, Bud Grant, Bud Selig, Bud Collins, Buddy Epsen, Buddy Baer, Buddy Holly, and this Bud's for you. Alas, I cannot place Bud Palmer. |

Embarrassing I had to look him up. I'm not well versed on drummers. I posted this a few years ago for Great Fatness. It gives you an idea of just what made Bonham different from other drummers (and the Led Zeppelin sound). Excellent video that gets into the techniques of drumming that I had no idea about! I can see now why Bonham was so special. |
