Had to look him up. RIP. Gone too early. Rolling Stone rated him as the greatest rock drummer ever. He sure died in a classic rock manner, consuming 40 shots of vodka the day of his death. Embarrassing I had to look him up. I'm not well versed on drummers.

Pretty cool that his son played in his place with the band in 2007 I just read.
