That was really disappointing… Yep, another one I prematurely put in the W column. And now I have to run. Hasta la vista, Pipps!

Okay, a walk, a bloop and a blast! Aaron Hicks coming up with no one on base in the bottom of the ninth - his specialty.

Hicks misses a cookie on a plate with a cold glass of milk.

DJ with an opposite field hit, coming back from an 0-2 count. Judge is the tying run at the plate!

Rizzo walks. Gleyber is the winning run at bat. Marwin comes in to pinch run for Rizzo. Gleyber has not looked good today at the plate..

Gleyber with a fly out to the centerfielder. At least, the Yankees did not go quietly. Gleyber took at huge swing at a 1-0 pitch in the dirt. If not, good chance he could have walked to load the bases to give Benintendi a chance. Gleyber is talented, just not very cerebral.

Geez how do you lose that one. Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk Bad start for Monty. Two of the six relievers give up runs. Holmes just did not have command, and the Yankees again allow Perez to beat them instead of loading the bases.

Oh well. As the late great Meatloaf used to say "...three outta four ain't bad..." Yeah, he should have stuck with the first fraction-centered song. That one just didn't sing the same.

Well the Yankees usually have success vs Seattle no matter how good or bad they are so hopefully that continues since 6 of next 9 games are against them.
