I loved the Ventura acquisition. Solid defensive third baseman with a solid bat and a penchant for grand slams. Cerebral player, except for charging the mound on Nolan Ryan. Yea I'm talking about when they traded him away to the dodgers in the middle of a season the Yankees went to the world series in.
