Don't look now, but Seattle has taken advantage of Toronto, Boston, Yankees, and the Angels mediocre play. If they beat Boston tonight they have JUMPED EVERYONE, but Toronto and are only 2.5 back of them. This would only be with a 56-51 record which it's pathetic the Yankees don't even have that. Damn thee, Anthony. Thou hast made me to look upon the situation. Now that mine eyes have gazed upon it I shall never be able to unsee it… 🤓 Seattle was 5.5 behind on July 24th barely a week ago. So they were farther behind than the Yankees were (2.5 on the same day) and now will pass the Yankees, Boston, and the Angels with a win tonight. Just missed chances by the Yankees. It's there right in front of them and we get stupid Judge and Stanton rest days etc. |

It is technically true. They have the head to heads with Toronto and Houston and the Red Sox, but they need to WIN a lot of those not be medicore. They also have the Season series vs Seattle if it comes to that. |
