Since Bader is starting in CF, I assume the reports of the Yankees asking waivers on him aren't true.

Gleyber the one guy that shows up every night and just plays is the one eventually going because they don't want to spend an resign him. Damn shame.
I'm not sure how it works after the trade deadline but I thought you can waive someone in hopes someone grabs them and their salary but they are still yours until it happens unlike DFA and Go Away. Could be totally wrong.

Wow, that HR by Gleyber was longer than last night's. Tigers broadcasters said that at 454 feet it was the third longest HR hit at Comerica this year. |

He wasn't DFAed. Okay, I figured if they asked waivers they're risking injury by putting him out there. To be eligible for the post-season a team has to claim him by tomorrow. |

I got a notification on my phone from MLB.com a couple hours ago that we have released Donaldson. I didn’t get anything on Bader, but since these notifications are fairly new to me, I don’t know what triggers them…
