You're right, of course. It is just my opinion (and I'm not taking that as an insult...sometimes I give my opinions and write them as if I'm an expert and I know I'm not), and really, I don't know what Morris will be. I will say this: the Indians, who do a terrific job developing pitching, both starting and relieving, traded Morris for a failed prospect in Florial. That tells me they don't think he'll make it. They're wrong sometimes, but not often.

I asked for your opinion because you're a very knowledgeable poster who's posts I have read for years on the YES message board.

10 Years for a catcher is crazy but it's only $14M a year which is good.
Why cant cashman get creative with our guys? Probably too late but he should have gave Gleyber a 12 year $200M to keep him for $16-17m a year

Probably too late but he should have gave Gleyber a 12 year $200M to keep him for $16-17m a year He tried it with Severino and Hicks and it backfired. I thought the deal with Sevy made sense at the time, Hicks was just the wrong player. |

The Dodgers keep printing money. The Dodgers and the Yankees have comparable assets tied up in long term deals. Adding the Smith to existing obligations to Ohtani, Betts, Glasnow, Frreeman and Yamamoto the Dodgers are on the hook for about $135 M. The Yankees owe Cole, Judge, Rodon and Stanton $118 M in 2027. It looks like both will be pay LT for years into the future. |

I didn't eat it. I gave it to my friend. Perhaps you know him. His name is Elmer J. Fudd, he owns a mansion and a yacht. He said that cookie tastes like fermented carrots with a slight hint of fermented lettuce and celery.
