Rooting for Texas in WS but only because I have $$$ on them from Spring Training. But I also really like their MANAGER.

Dramatic Game One of the World Series, although unfortunately I was long in The Land Of Nod when it ended. Clutch HR for Seager to tie it in the ninth and Garcia to win it in the eleventh. Why you would ever pitch to a guy as blazing hot as Garcia is now makes no sense at all.
There have been four times that a team led by more than one run in the ninth inning of a World Series game and lost the game. One was Texas in the David Freese game in 2011. The other three times it's been the Diamondbacks-- last night and twice in 2001 playing the Yankees.

I'm not sure who I should root for. Who are you rooting for pipps?
Those two games in 2001 in the World Series in the Bronx were something else. I remember watching it in my dorm at Stevens Tech and the whole floor going nuts.

Those were amazing wins. The whole dramatic scenario seemed to be unfolding in favor of the Yanks. I could hardly think of a time when they appeared more likely to win a World Series than 2001. That one is still painful. Had to be some fun nights at Stevens, I'm sure. Phew, I have trouble coming up with a strong rooting interest in this one, even though it's started out as a great Series. I have no particular animosity or favorable feelings for either team. I suppose I lean toward Texas because of Monty and I admire Bochy. And I like Semien and Seager. So yeah, put me down for the Rangers as of now. Subject to change of course if some player gets too mouthy.

Yea, I'm leaning Rangers too just because of Monty and some old animosity towards the 2001 Diamondbacks team.

Giving up a game tying run in the 9th and then being walked off in extra innings. That's a lot of pain.

I can envision Byung-Hyun Kim looking crushed after first Tino and next night Jeter hitting those walk off home runs. Miraculous games.

Diamondbacks win game 2 9-1 as Ketel Marte breaks MLB record with an 18 game postseason hitting streak. World Series tied at 1.

I live just a hop, skip, and a jump from Arlington, and I always pull for the American League, unless it's the Boston Red Sox or Tampa Bay Leaves. So, Geaux Rangers!

So, I have been looking, and the least expensive ticket (single, not plural) for the World Series is $700 dollars, and I think I have to sit behind a stanchion, sell concessions in the final three innings, and then help with traffic following the game.
