Oh so now because he has tourettes he shouldnt be booed ? Give me a break . Compassion is one thing but excusing poor playing because of that is just plain silly . And I'll add ... He doesnt have Tourettes Inger said he does .

Inger inger is the lone individual in the United States responsible for recording his imprimatur prior to anyone being diagnosed with Tourette's Syndrome. Inger uses a magical sombrero sorting hat for his final decision.

He doesnt have Tourettes Thanks for the correction. I had read somewhere, can’t cite the source that he had “mild” Tourette’s. Current sources cite “Facial Tic Syndrome” which is within the same family of conditions. Who knew conditions had relatives? Kids, clean up your toys. Uncle Facial Tic and Aunt Restless Legs are coming over for dinner…

And I'll add ... He doesnt have Tourettes He has Tic Syndrome which is in the Tourette family. Is that the reason for his gyrations in the batter's box?

Don't know, but the guy gave 100% for the Yankees, he was a pretty good fielder, baserunner, and bunter. But oh, those strikeouts. Yikes.

I am picking INF Jeter Downs (DFA) and Catcher Ben Rortvedt to be traded away to create 2 MLB roster spots for the Yankees roster.

He’s a one trick pony as a hitter, but he played his rear off afield, has a strong arm and good base-running instincts and decent speed. He slumped and it s as pleated his psyche wouldn’t allow him to recover. I Would have been accepting if he could have simply hit his career averages and added the HR pop that was expected, but he’s not the kind of hitter I prefer…

He hit .170 with the yankees , that is actually somewhat close to .200

Plus he wasn’t making contact often enough to threaten the 40-homer mark… Gallo has only hit the 40 hr mark twice in his career and the last time was in 18 . He has never been able to make enough contact to constantly hit 40 hrs . I mean i wasnt very surprised at the numbers he put up with the yankees . Outside of power , the guy has never been a good hitter .
