Never like your OF leaving his feet unless he is going to get to it but it looks like it's part of Dugo's game. I love having a player with character and excitement. Soto is the big name but I think Dugo will play a big role and be a fan favorite. Verdugo was a good pickup, I said so at the time. Left-handed, contact hitter, should be able to take advantage of the Porch, solid defender. And in a contract year as well, just like Soto. |

Yanks stay in first, and gain a game on the O's.
Jays beat the Rays and Sox are tied 1-1 in the 4th in Seattle.
If Sox win, Yanks are 1 1/2 up on the O's, and 2 up of the Rays, Jays and Sox.
Not a bad start to this season, hunh?

gotta give the pen credit. they bent (particularly holmes) but didn't break. while loaisiga allowed an inherited runner to score, another 3 2/3 scoreless on the ledger. For sure, pitchers did their part allowing Yankees offense to get enough runs for a win. |

And another one of the mighty Houston bullpen members has been vanquished!… yup beat one of the best closers in the game.
not exactly an offensive tour de force, but other than ocab, everyone in the lineup made some contribution. 4-0 to start especially against the astros (one of the toughest offenses in the game) at home is quite an accomplishment. on to arizona ...

To those of you that wind up having to stream those Apple games and such… I found that the YES app was running a good 10 minutes ahead of the regular streaming on Fire Fox through StreamCast late in yesterday’s game. I had already loaded the stream and all I did was hit the button for the YES app and the game was on, so I’m not sure yet how to access from the app…or if you can… |
