Is there anyone that actually likes eating peeps? My grandmother always bought me those circus peanuts, which are made of the same thing as peeps. Just awful, but I didn't have the heart to tell her. Jelly beans would have been perfect. circus peanuts are in the HOF of bad candies. |

Sinker is a first pitch strike to Diaz, but called ball 1 anyway, 90% on Gameday.
Lines the hanging slider to left for a hit.

Singleton fouls the next one off.
Cutter up and in jams him, his foul pop is low and near the stands. Berti makes a sliding try, but overran it and it falls, 1-2.
A good, Well thought out pitch!

The Pirates have another young starter named Jared Jones who made his debut yesterday and struck out 10. It won't be long to him and Skenes will be a one-two rookie punch in their rotation. Yep. A couple of wiseguys are picking the Pirates to make the playoffs because they expect both Skenes and Jones to move them up in a weak NL Central. Pirates have a good young core of position players. They could make some noise with a bit of pitching. |
