Okay, we need a walk, an infield single, a bloop, a blast, a blast, a blast, a blast, and a blast.

Its not over til it’s over, but it’s gotten late early out there tonight… on the way home from this one if you come to a fork in the road, take it. You can never have too many forks…

Judge takes a FB up and in, a slider low and away, Then lifts a slider to the inside corner to center for out #2

Is Judge still hurt? 6 games should be enough to shake off the rust.

97 FB outer 3rd, strike 1 on Rizzo Slider outside, 1-1 Change at the very bottom of the zone. Maybe, 1-2 Bad change in the middle thigh high, but Rizzo misses, fouls it off. Flies open and fires the FB two feet high, 2-2 Slider near middle, but Rizzo again fouls it off. FB waust high, outside corner, topped to Walker, he flips to Jarvis. Game over
And so is the perfect season. Yanks drop to 5-1 with a 7-0 loss to the Diamondbacks.
Lose a game to both the Rays and Jays, and possibly the Red Sox They stay 1 1/2 up on the O's, but just 2 ahead of the Jays and Rays. Sox will also be 2 behind if they win in Oakland. And they took a 5-4 lead in the 8th, the A's have a man on 1st with 2 down, so let's just consider that a loss, with the Sox moving up to 2 behind.

First loss. First time shut out. Had to get them both over with at some point. See you guys tomorrow at 1:30 MDST, because Colorado DOES do Daylight Savings Time…

The three stars of the game... presceo for his varied ejaculations of despair. rizzuto for his cogent criticism inger for all-around superior postosity
Put'em in any order you want.
Weren't any Yanks who deserves ANY stars.

Series finale at 12:40 tomorrow afternoon on YES
Merritt Kelly for the D'backs. Pitched a great game against the Rockies in his first start: 6 2/3 innings, 3 hits, 1 ER a solo HR, 0 BB and 8 K. Of course, they ARE the Awful A's. Carlos Rodon for the Yanks. He struggled against the Astros in his first start, yielding 5 hits and 3 BB in 4 1/3 innings with 4 K, and just 1 run allowed. Yanks won that one late of the Astros bullpen.
And that'll do it for me for tonight. See you guys tomorrow afternoon. Good night to all. Bye.
