How does he look? I had to take my daughter to a birthday party and missed of the action? Didn't do anything in the first game, but good looking at bats against a clearly diminished McKenzie today with a walk and a 3 run bomb, with a routine grounder in between. Edit: read the reply too quick. Thought chiyankee was referring to Soto and not Poteet, but you have it right, lauren. I'll scroll through your at bat by at bat descriptions later.  |

Beede in to relieve McKenzie. Beede was a decent starter prospect, but has failed multiple trials. Went to Japan and played NPB ball last year. Back and pitching very well this year.
Forgot Stanton didn't bat in the 5th, so he's leading off.

Good mix of pitches and changing locations. Nothing over-powering. He's had a nice rhythm thus far. Thanks Rizz!  Poteet supplied 4 shutdown inning. He and Wells are in sync |

Volpe bails out Gleyber's poor throw to second. Thats not true it was a difficult play Gleyber made a very nice play to get the lead runner Let's pile on for no reason guys It did keep the DP open which Poteet induced wit h the next hitter. |

Beede had a four pitch arsenal as a startr but has thrown just FB and curve this year, at least until this game.
Breaking out the splitter for the Yanks.
Hanging curve thigh high, inner 3rd, lined to left center for a single.
Man on 1st, 1 out for Verdugo.

Might've opened up a big inning for Cleveland if it had gone wrong. |

1-2 on Cabrer. Splitter outside. Four splitters so far after not using it yet this year.
Low curve over the middle, ankle high, lined over Naylor's leap into the RF corner for a double, Torres scores, Verdugo freezes to make sure Naylor didn't catch it, has to stop at 3rd with 1 out.
7-0 Yanks!
