Wells gets a curve in the middle below the waist, hits it high to fairly deep left center, easy play for Laureano, but Verdugo scores easily. Cabrera holds 2nd on Laureano's great arm, 8-0 Yanks!

Volpe up for his 4th PA here in the 5th.

Wow, splitter down and in on the corner, Volpe goes down and golfs it, hit it well, but the fliner goes right where Laureano is in right center to end the inning.
Good hitting by Volpe there, but no luck. 105 mph, XBA was .740.
Bottom 5, 8-0 Yanks.
Poteet goes back out there to try and qualify for the W, he's at 45 pitches and will face Laureano, Florial and Fry.

Hanging change winds up in the middle, and Laureano pulls it but Volpe backhands in the 56 hole and throws him out. 102 mph exit velo
