Alright, I'm going to go eat dinner. I'll be back. Speaking of dinner, I erred in naming the restaurant we ate at in Pagosa Springs. It wasn’t Margaritas as I stated previously. It was called Tequilas… Ruthie called me on it…

Cade Smith in for the Guardians. Smith also off to a great start, just 2 hits, 3 BB and 0 HR in 7 2/3 innings with 12 K. FB at 96 about 60% of the time, Splitter at 89 23% of the time, slider at 82 about 17% of the time.
Gets ahead of Soto 0-2, but losses him on a 3-2 splitter low out of the zone, ball 4.

Texas Rangers are none too happy with Brock Burke punching the wall leading to a broken hand.

Judge gets a hanging slider inside, and hammers it past Arias slide down the 3rd base line into the corner for a double, Soto to 3rd with nobody out.
Guardians bring the infield in to....I dunno...protect a 7 run deficit???....force the infield to practice the infield in defense???...get an infielder needlessly injured on a hard line drive?

Rizzo falls behind 0-2, then guesses breaking ball or splitter by location, and takes a 97 FB above the knees in the zone for strike 3, 1 down. Infield still in for Stanton.

Texas Rangers are none too happy with Brock Burke punching the wall leading to a broken hand. The wall is undefeated. Players will never learn.

Stanton chops the 1-1 pitch to the right side of 2nd, Gimenez looks Soto back, throws out Stanton, two down. No reason to send Soto on that play and risk injury on a collision at home.

Thats not true it was a difficult play Gleyber made a very nice play to get the lead runner Let's pile on for no reason guys Did you notice where the ball was in his hand when he released it? I didnt ... but I saw gleyber go to his left , spin and throw to Volpe for the out. Little low but catchable and Volpe made a nice play Now 1was it the right play with a 6 run lead ? I dunno ... but it did keep the eventual DP alive. If Gleyber didnt make the boneheaded throw in Game 1 we woldnt be talking about it

Wow.... Torres gets an enormous gift on the 1-2. FB hits the outer 3rd for strike 3, not called. FB away slapped down first, Naylor backhands moving to the line, flips to Smith, inning over.
Yanks get 2 men in scoring position with no one out, fail to capitalize. Bottom 6, 8-1 Yanks. Let's see if Boone sends Poteet back out there to start the 6th. I'm reasonably sure he will.
