I know that the two have no correlation, watching Poteet reminded me of journeyman Aaron Smalls going 10-0 for the Yanks in 2005. Indeed, reasonable comparison. |

Slider down and in, but in the zone, Fry misses, pops to Volpe, who calls off Cabrera on the short grass in left. 1 down.

Why are you walking the leadoff batter up 8-1, Santana? That was not "Smooth". Why are on this team, Santana? I would think that's why. 0-1 sinker, and Arias grounds it right to Torres, who starts an easy 4-6-3 DP to end the inning. Top 8, 8-1 Yanks. |

O's lost to the Brewers 11-5
Rays lost to the Giants, 11-2.
Sox beat the Angels, 7-2.
Jays beat the Rockies 5-3.
Could be a pretty good day for the Yanks if they hold this one.
