Change outside slapped foul off 3rd.
FB knee high, outer half, Rocchio steps in and drives it toward the corner in left, but Verdugo gets a great jump and makes a sliding catch near the line. Outstanding play by Verdugo.

Santana bounces a slider down and in on 1-2, and Gimenez chases for the K, inning over.
Thanks to the excellent defense behind him, a 10 pitch 1-2-3 and 22 through 2 innings of work.
Boone might send him out in the 9th to try for the 3-inning save.
