The name Sears sounds familiar?  Well at least they got Montas and his 8 starts, 2-3 record and ERA over 6 in parts of two seasons for him... Yup, I remember! He pitched well for us and than we gave him away! |

Backdoor slider attempt misses at least 6 inches outside, but get the horrendous Wendlestedt called 3rd strike for preposterous ꓘ.
Haven't seen a strike zone this ridiculous than Eric Gregg in the famous Livan Hernandez playoff game.
I'll take it, I guess.

Chases a slider low/away, 0-2

Fb waist high outer 3rd, fouled, and that was the pitch, Rizzo, have to hit that one.
Sinker at the knees inside middle, rolled over to 2nd, Gelof throws him out, 1 down.
I have no idea why the Yankee announcers are so far off on location, but that sinker was NOT on the hands, Flats. It was just inside the middle of the plate.

Torres misses a FB down the middle at 9w.
FB inside fouled, 0-2
FB up and away taken, 1-2
back leg slider makes him skip rope, 2-2.
FB in the zone up and away, Torres late and under, fouls it off the right side.
Change thrown well low, count goes full, From 0-2 to 3-2.
Change just outside middle and again takes the huge hack, and again, as usual as he does that, he was late and under, fouls it back and to the right.
Slider down and in, pulled foul
8th pitch of the at bat.
I don't feel good about this at bat, Flats. He's had 3 good pitches to hit and missed all three.
Make that four. FB right down the freakin' middle under 92 mph and he plain misses under it for the K, 2 down.
