FB at the top is a strike, not called, he checks, but the 1st base ump says no swing either.
Gets a gift on a FB below the knees, 2-1.
FB inside middle at 96, and Nevin is late, fouls it off, 2-2
Taps the slider at the knees to 3rd, Cabrera charges hard and fires to 2nd quickly, getting Ruiz off the bases on the force, but Gleyber eats the relay even though he might've doubled up Nevin.

Rooker takes the change low, then gets under a FB just outside middle, pops to left center, Verdugo loses it in the sun, but Judge sees it and bails him out, 2 down.

Most of the A's pen is pitching very well this year, so it's not going to get much easier when they take out Sears. Yeah, so far Sears is "towering" over the Yankees.   j Boo!!! 😂 🌽 |

Takes a back leg curve for ball 1.
Then gets a poorly located change, just outside middle middle, and hammers it to Cabrera' left, he goes down to a need to grab it behind him, wheels around, throws out Langeliers, inning over. Outstanding grab to take away at least a single. Inning over
Bottom 6, 0-0. 15 pitches for Rodon in the 6th, and 81 through 6
Top of the order gets it's 3rd look at Sears. Let's see if Soto can adjust this time.

Nope.
FB on the corner away up in the zone, popped way high behind 3rd. Schuemann loses it in the afternoon sun, but Allen comes over from short and has more than enough time to get there, 2 down.

Judge swings over a slider low in the middle, 0-1
FB gets a small piece of the high outside corner, but not called, surprisingly.
Same thing on that FB and Judge checks in time, 0-2
Gets a thigh high sinker on the outer 3rd, and Judge is late and under again, fouled off
And NOT right down the middle, Flats.
