Looks like it, and good afternoon, pres. More standings: In the AL Central, the Guardians continue their hot start. The Yankees series in Cleveland is still the only one they've lost so far this season, but if the Braves win the rubber game today, that'll game two lost series,. At 19-8 they have the best record in the AL, 1 1/2 games better than both the Yanks and O's. The Royals have won 4 of 5 to surge to 6 games over, and they're in 2nd, 2 1/2 back of Cleveland. The Tigers, led by their strong pitching (5th in the AL with a 3.22 team ERA) are now 3 over at 15-12, 1 1/2 back of the Royals, and 4 back of the Guardians.. The Twins have shaken off their woes, winning 6 in a row this week and are back to .500. They trail the Tigers by 1, the Royals by 2 1/2 and are 5 1/2 out of 1st. Despite beating the Rays twice and winning their first series of the season, the White Sox are still the worst team in MLB at 5-22, on pace for 30 wins, and are already 8 1/2 out of 4th place, 10 out of 3rd, 11 1/2 out of 2nd, and 14 games out of first. |

Let's see what Stroman has up his sleeve today...
Sinker outside, ball 1
Frelick takes a FB up and away, ball 2
Sinker into the top outer quadrant, 2-1
Cutter into the top of the zone away, fouled off 2-2
Backdoor slider misses just outside 3-2
Reaches for a sinker out of the zone low/away, rolls it over to Torres for the first out.

Slider waist high on the outside corner, Contreras jumps on it and drives it to the corner in right, but Soto gets the jump and makes the catch, 2 down.
