Cutter near middle, 0-1 on Cabrera.
Splitter dives to the low outside corner and Cabrera taps it to the right of the mound. Kremer fields, flips underhand to Mountcastle, inning over.
It would seem that midnight has struck for Cabrera, and his bat has turned back into a pumpkin. Not just bad BAVG, but only a handful of balls hit hard lately.
Bottom 7, 4-2 O's.

Sox up 4-0 on the Giants in the 5th in Fenway.
Brewers lead the Rays 3-1 in the 3rd in Milwaukee.

Cutter outer 3rd, fouled off by Mountcastle
Cutter above the zone, Mountcastle is early and misses under, 0-2
Weaver came in to start this inning, if I didn't mention it.
FB hit hard to deep right center, but Grisham playing that way, gets the jump and backhands it on the move on the track, then spins and bounces lightly off the wall, 2 down.

Santander turns around and bats lefty against the righty Weaver.
Fb outside at 97. (!)
Cutter up and in, pulled very hard and deep but well foul down the right side, 1-1
Swings over a good diving change to the low outside corner, 1-2
Backs it up with another one, further outside, chased for the K, inning over.
12 pitch 1-2-3 for Weaver in the 7th.
Grisham, then back to the top for Volpe and Soto in the 8th for the Yanks.
Let's see who the O's go to, Kremer at 93 pitches through 7.

FB down the middle, and Volpe doesn't try to pull for power, simply drives it back up the middle for a 1 out single.
Soto is 0-2 vs. Akin.
Slider clips the bottom of the zone, but he gets the Soto-call, 1-0
Soto checks on a FB outside, and Bucknor rears his ugly head to call it a swing, 1-1
Slider outside at the knees, 2-1

Webb will face Judge...he's pitching very well so far this season. 2.25 ERA in 12 innings with 12 K and 3 BB.
Three pitch righty, FB low 90's about 40-45%, slider 82 about 1/3 of the time, and the rest is a change 83-4
Change yanked outside, 1-0
Change bounced outside, 2-0
Judge has never faced him before.
Trips up on the change to the low outside corner, Judge swings over, 2-1

Nope, I was wrong and so was Judge, FB waist high, outer 3rd, and Judge swung through it, 3-2
Same change as the 2-0 pitch, hits the low outside corner, Judge swings over, K. Inning over.
O's survive the tough part of the Yankees order.
Great pitch sequencing there again, sped up Judge's bat with 2 FBs blowing the 2nd one by him, and then he was early and over the change.
