Can't tell from the dugout angle.
Can't see the tag from high 1st base angle.
Tags the armpit, and it looks like the runner's hand is not quite back on the bag.
I think he's out, but might not be clear enough for an overturn.

None of the angles shown so far show him clearly out.

Mateo has never faced Weaver, tries to bunt, bunts foul, 0-1.
Bunts the high cutter and deadens it, but it's foul near home, 0-2.
FB above the zone, popped over 1st back near the stands, goes out of play.
FB outside, 1-2
FB above the zone chased and spoiled
FB outside at the top, 2-2
Great change down and in to a RIGHTY gets a swing over and a miss, K. 1 down.

Why have replay if it isn't used correctly? No conclusive angle showing he was out, I think. I think they might have barely gotten him, but the evidence wasn't there. 1st pitch FB down the middle to Mullins, popped to short left center, Judge tries to call off Volpe and Volps doesn't hear him, but he catches and holds on as Judge barely holds up in time to give him a bit of a body check, which Volpe bounces away from. No blood, no foul, 2 down. |
