Abrams up with a 3-2 count, man on 3rd, 2 down, Albert Suarez pitching for the O's. Did Anunoby get hurt? Why is he out of the game? Anunoby out for the game with a sore hamstring. He came up lame on a layup attempt. Too bad. The Knicks have lost half their defense with the injuries to Robinson and Anunoby. They just don't have enough good players to cover. Shallow team even without both of them. |

OK, nothing left to check, so that's going to do it for me for tonight. Ok, Anunoby has a hamstring injury, so he's done for tonight and the Knicks are in trouble if he can't get back for the rest of the series. In fact, they're losing this series without him. Not sure Gleyber is to blame there, the ball never got away, Volpe was too sharp and run up his butt. Have to see where Gleyber was when Arrighetti turner around with the ball. Exactly. Volpe has to look where the lead runner is. Torres was about half way home, Volpe should have been about half way to 3B until Torres fully committed to running to home plate. |

Altuve getting the royal treatment from Yankees fans.
In my opinion, no need to curse out Altuve or Reggie Miller. There's women and children in the stands, besides it's only a game. I wonder if Altuve and Miller are thinking that it's so many years later and there still living rent free in some NY fans heads.

Looked like to me he would have been out had he tried to score. Just my 2 cents... If the lead runner is hustling or not, the trailing runner still has to look to see where the lead runner is.
I'm not say you, but a suspect had Torres ran hard rounding 3B and tried to score and got thrown out on a play where the ball didn't leave the infield he would have been criticized by some for that too.
No need for Torres to take that chance and try to score with a hot hitting Judge coming to bat.
