Oh I know it would take more than that but I want him... Especially now with Judge out... I do wonder what it would take. He's a DH only... Can't play 1B to save his hyde. Considered the worst defender in all of baseball. NL not having a dh could help us out. Let's get it done maybe we can get a pitcher as well. Pipe dream but might as well speculate The Clint Frazier injury really sucks, he would be getting a lot of AB's right now. Hopefully he learned his lesson n won't crash into walls in ST. LOL. It sucks too bc only reason he crashed was bc he took a horrible root to the batted ball. It would have been a routine play otherwise... I really wish he was healthy and proving himself so we knew what we had as OF options in MLB 2019. Do we pick up Bretts option? What about Ellsbury? Do we sign Harper???(lol) |

Not to be a softie but it hurt me a little to watch Shreves reaction... Sometime I forget these guys are human and make strong connection with team mates. Especially a team with a tight clubhouse like Yankees... I'm sure if Shreve was a Met he would still be crying but they'd be tears of joy!!!

Addes: we should start a poll... Which MLB team would you hate to be traded to... Not bc of their record or the city but bc of public knowledge of their cancerous clubhouse??? I guess next could be bc city. If hate to get traded to Tampa bc the city is like a retirement community from what I hear...

Even after Loria is gone the Marlins still seem like they're being run by either incompetent ownership, or ownership that couldn't afford the competitive team they already had. I think Fernandez' death took a huge toll on that team but trading away possibly the best OF in baseball made no sense. The Mets are the same shit show they have been for ages. Tampa gotta be up there too, awful field/stadium, awful attendance and no hope of spending any amount of your career with them because ownership never pays the studs they develop. |

Funny thing with the Mets is it seemed like Cespedes trolled them all year. Pretty much said fuck you... You already paid me.. why should I waste my valuable time playing for and with a bunch of losers... That's just how it seems from someone who casually paid attention to that situation. I have no idea exactly what happened. He only played 38 games this season. Just Google Cespedes and click on news and there so many negative stories.

Voit sounds like a DFA candidate to open up another 40 man roster spot. Ueah. I was trying to figure out the motivation for the trade. Voit is sort of a big, lumbering guy. Almost what i’d call a fatty. BR says he’s 6’3” and 235, but I’d add a few pounds to that. He’s a guy who’s had MiLB success as a selective and powerful hitter, with some modest MLB success last season. He’s a IB and pinch hitter in St. Louis, so where does he fit in NY? Of course from what we’ve seen...since Walker has started to hit, maybe we’ll DFA him... ): Irritable bowel? Kind of harsh for someone who's yet to have an at bat in pinstripes. I thought this was the B.S. thread lol. Since its the trade thread... I'll trade MM for MLB network Lauren Shehottie. Mmmm... I wanna taste Nancy Newman NN is up there in age... I can't find an age online but she's gotta be at least in mid 40s... Looks like I was being generous... This site says early 50s. She keeps that body looking fresh. She mustve had surgery on the off season bc I never really thought she was that attractive. Now every time I see her I get really dirty thoughts... On the other hand...
