This was simply a trade to get cap money and to work on clearing excess talent out of the system while coming away with something. Anything. Voit may appear in uniform at some point, but if he does, he'll be a DFA and hit the streets...I was actually not that rough on him. Modest success at the MLB level isnt' something that everyone can have...nor is powerful and selective hitter in AAA...He's just soft in the middle... I had to look her up......she's pretty enough, but if I were a young, virile, guy like Sierchio I might lust after some girl a little younger....this one looks like she's about inger's age.... @feinsand Source: Yankees will receive international bonus pool money from the Mariners in the Warren deal. Not sure if there are players going back to NYY as well. Hopefully there's more to the story because Warren is a known dependable reliever and the international market is a lottery. If they dealt him just for international pool money and there's no other move to explain this, then I don't get it. |

According to multiple reports its Adam Warren just for international signing bonus pool money from the Mariners. I don't get this unless there are other moves coming.

If they are going to make some other deal that would have put them over the threshold without moving salary then I get it. Or if this is somehow part of a bigger deal thatlands then someone great like Archer. Or if they need the pool money to sign that guy either two names Victor Victor. Otherwise it seems random and regrettable. |
