Splitter in the middle thigh high, but Canzone is late and under, pops to Verdugo in left, inning over.
Another easy 1-2-3 for Stroman, just 8 pitches and 64 through 5.
Bottom 5, 2-0 Yanks.
Top of the order for the Yanks, Volpe, Soto and Judge get their 3rd look at Gilbert.

FB near the top, outside middle, Volpe fouls it off, 0-1
Slider in the zone low/away fouled off, 0-2
Curve well outside, 1-2
Hittable FB below the waist outer half, but Volpe is late and under, fouls it off.
Curve bounced outside, 2-2
Slider down and in, topped to Moore, Volpe stumbles trying to get out of the box, making the easy play easier, 1 down.

Slider just outside, and Judge duplicates Stanton's effort, goes with it off the end of the bat, breaks it, but slaps it hard through the open right side for a single. Soto stops at 2nd with 1 out.
