Looks like our Luis was better than their Luis. Didn't expect this win with the pitching matchup. Should have known better I guess. A nice surprise!

Stanton hit a home run and had a god awful AB with the bases loaded. He still looks terrible at times, but he's not the automatic out he has been the past couple of seasons. He looks like he's having fun again.

He looks like he's having fun again. So long as he can stay off of the IL he should be very dangerous. To see him be able to tee off on a 96 MPH fastball from a right handed pitcher - Castillo too - is a great sign. After his leg issues cropped up last year he just couldn't do that. He's actually hit 11 of his 12 home runs so far against RHP. |

As I said...little to no regard for the fans. I went to a concert at Fiddler's Green (Denver) in which he was the supposed headliner. I actually went to see "Gin Blossoms", the opening act. He eventually came out and did what I felt was a perfunctory, self-serving 2-3 songs...I suppose to fulfill contractual obligations. |

Neil’s getting up in years.
When we went to see McCartney in Lancaster, PA, I think he was 74. He was a bit more than 2 hours late. No apology, but at least he showed up and put on a surprisingly great show.
