Cubs lead the Rays 2-1 top 9 in Tampa
Phils lead the Sox, 4-1, bottom 8 in Fenway.
Jays lead the Brewers, 1-0 bottom 3 in Milwaukee.

I had an irrational hatred for Balboni when I was a yoot and he played for the Royals. I think it was because he always looked like an asshole on his baseball cards. I remember being pissed when the Yankees signed him in the early 90's. Because of old Magazines like Street and Smiths I couldn’t wait for him to hit the majors and play third for us. I was so disappointed when we dealt him away… First baseman - really a DH - and some midwest guy named Mattingly was in his way. |

Slider down and in out of the zone pulled foul

I'm stuck with the Royals broadcast on Extra Innings. Rex Hudler was talking about breaking in with the Yankees and how when he walked into the Stadium fans would yell at him "you'll never replace Randolph you bum." He was laughing about it, but it shows that fans don't change much.

Sinker misses just outside, called a strike anyway, close, an inch or two, but a ball. Stroman gets a small break there.
Spliter dives low on the corner away, 1-1
Cutter on the outer 3rd, swung on and missed, 1-2
