Verdugo takes a FB near middle, 0-1 Throw over on Soto Fb in the zone up and away, fouled straight back. Pitch clock violation on Verdugo, and that's strike 3. Inning over. Awful way to kill a rally. Leave it to MLB to take a good idea like the pitch clock and make it idiotic with these silly side rules. |

That Verdugo clock violation is a great example of why I stopped going to baseball games, and won't pay 1 red cent to watch anymore MLB games. Baseball stopped being baseball when they turned it into a video game with the clock.

Cutter at the knees outside middle, belted to deep right center, but Grisham gets a great jump and route, hauls it in on the track, 2 down.
As good a glove as he is bad as a hitter.
