I'm gonna leave it up to make an example out of myself lol. Gotta read links before posting them. That first link... 4 things to know... Horrible article.. I recommend checking it out... Just to see how horrible it is haha. River Ave Blues on the other hand usually has good articles. I'm about to read their scouting report now.

Yankees' Jonathan Loaisiga debuts Friday | What you need to know, scouting report
Scouting report? Via MLB.com: While Loaisiga is small and skinny, he has surprising power to his three-pitch repertoire. His quick arm repeatedly generates 93-96 mph fastballs that top out at 98 with life down in the strike zone. His low-80s curveball features a high spin rate and his upper-80s changeup has nice fade, albeit with a bit too much velocity. Loaisiga has a clean delivery that he repeats well, allowing him to work the bottom of the strike zone and issue just three walks in 32 2/3 innings last season. His stuff and control give him a ceiling of a mid-rotation starter, though his size and health history are concerns. If he winds up in the bullpen, his stuff should add even more power and he could rush through the Minors.

Loaisiga has been compared to Tim Lincecum. I hope the old Lincecum and not the new version.

I'll never get that spelling of his last name right. We need to come up with a nickname and one easier to spell than Lasagna... JoLo?

A forgotten prospect in the Yankees system who is quietly making significant progress is Hoy Jun Park. Yesterday he was 2 for 4 with a single (opposite field ground ball) and a triple (pulled fly ball) while playing for Tampa.
Many might be turned-off by his rather pedestrian .247 batting average but the truth is that there are many signals of what could end up being an above average (or better) major league hitter. Park is an extremely patient hitter with a very discerning eye at the plate. Proof of this are his 38 walks so far this season to just 46 strike outs. His 16.2% walk rate leads the Florida State League and his 0.83 BB/K ratio ranks third. Thanks to his high walk rate Park has a very solid .379 on base percentage that ranks ninth in the FSL.
Park, a left handed hitter, can produce long home runs to the pull side. He has 12 extra base hits in the season including 4 “Homers” all to right field, with a couple of them being no doubters Although his approach is generally to all fields, Park does take his opportunities to pull the ball with authority as proven by a 45% pulled ball rate which could lead him to take advantage of Yankees Stadium. And although he does have a better slugging percentage vs right handed pitchers he does not show much of a platoon split and has actually walked more against lefties.
Park has well above average to borderline plus speed which allows him to translate his high OBP numbers into stolen bases. His 15 SBs so far rank fifth in the FSL with an excellent success rate of 83%.
Defensively Park can play well both middle infield positions. During the season he has split time between SS (30 times) and second base (26 times) making just 8 errors in total (pretty low number for young middle infield prospects). He projects more on the average side at SS but really is a plus defensive 2B.
In a best case scenario Park could become a Tyler Wade type of player as a speedy lead-off type left handed middle infielder. What would make him interesting is that when all is said and done Park could have average power (ie 15 to 20 HRs/season). And although very probably 2B will not be available for quite a long time Park could become an interesting bench player or more likely an attractive trade piece.

yes, gowin....good report on someone I had not heard of before.......sounds as if he may have more power than Tyler Wade...if he's 2-4 yrs out he could fit into Yankee plans depending on how the gee-whiz three (Torres, Gregorious, Andujar) are doing and their contract status...nice to hear of the richness of the Yankee farm.....

While at this moment the thought is somewhat heartbreaking, I wouldn't be surprised to see Didi allowed to escape in the winter of 2020. He'll be heading into his year 31 season. I think Cashman may be loathe to allow this team to age when he has options to the contrary...It's going to take one heckuva player for Cashman to hook them up with a contract for the "old man" years. (See: Cano, Robinson)...Especially when we already have a natural SS playing 2B. Yes, I think there is room at the top. Just like John Lennon said in "Working Class Hero"... "First you must learn to smile as you kill"...
