I've seen this kid compared to Mike Trout and Bryce Harper. No pressure there, I hope Yankee fans are patient with him. The good news is that most Yankees fans have no idea he’s alive and only follow the prospects once they are mentioned in a trade. |

Mother of all beatdowns is in progress: Surprised they don’t just call it. A few years ago I went to see the Yanks play Tampa and went to the complex and caught part of a GCL game. It was like watching a high school game but with less people watching. |

how very valuable the Latin players have become in MLB....many, if not most come from humble circumstances...what a great thing it is for them to have an opportunity rise above their start through baseball...

Deivi Garcia just pitched a perfect first inning for the American League in the prospects game. He struck out the first hitter then got the next two on weak pop ups.
He's a small guy at 5' 9" & 165 lbs. but he has a great arm.

That's great. He's on track to be in the Bronx next season if things keep going this way. Or to get traded to San Francisco. |
