most here probably will not agree but i thought it was a reasonably "fair" assessment. both offensively and pitching wise, we had few options and for the most part, boone did the best he could. of course there was WS game 1 ...
That's pretty much my take. Too bad Cole took himself out so early and I still think Cortez was a questionable choice but other than that I don't have too many complaints.

Game 1 was annoying, but if they come back and win Game 2 the series is different.

Because the media has turned Aaron Judge into a 1 joke character...like he's been invited to Time Square on New Year's Eve because he's great at dropping the ball. In time people will remember all the good things about Judge, the same way we still remember Ted Williams as a great hitter, and not because he choked in the only World Series he ever appeared in.

LOL! It really was a fine analogy. Kamara is one the surest pass catchers out of the backfield that I have ever seen. Both he and Judge took their eyes off the ball for just a split second. I thought the game was over at that point, but Atlanta kept finding ways to keep the Saints in the game. My niece was at the game with some really good tickets right behind the Saints’ sideline.

Judge has already had two of the best seasons by a clean player in my lifetime and should be the all time single season HR champion, are people really this narrow minded?

No, not real Yankees fans who have seen Judge play day in and day out, and watched him be a true, 100% professional, as well as an inspiration, and classy player in the tradition of other Yankee captains, like Jeter, Mattingly, Munson and Gehrig. However, the media, who look for nothing but $$$ through controversy and of course those who hate the Yankees, I'm sure they will continue the venom against Judge for a long time to come...let's remember (before 2004) for how long Yankee fans showed up with "1918" banners at the stadium whenever the Sox were in town...so we should all be prepared for what Judge will have to endure next season. What goes around comes around...but I have no doubt that Judge being the seasoned professional he is, will no doubt answer with his bat!
