I'll admit it. When he was stumbling around like a bum in Spring Training I was thanking my lucky stars the Yankees didn't invest in his steaming pile of crap...Now...Not so steaming...at least not with crap...Amazing talent... He's been real fun to watch. Even though I have some sour grapes from him not wanting to come to the Yankees, I'll still root for him. Ohtani Fever! My grapes are very sour towards Ohtani... actually screw him... He's back to Otani for me!!!

F "small market" Ohtani... I'm sure he's enjoying those country backroads of Anaheim. Anaheim is an armpit with cartoon mice. BTW, that is as complimentary an approximation as one can have while remaining truthful.

Even the scheduling of games with the Yankees causes injuries. Yankee injury bug starting to spread. By the time we leave Boston, they'll be decimated...I'd feel a bit bad for the Sox if the Yankees weren't already in such dire straits...Ha, that reminded me. We had a young self-professed hippie in MD that was named Harry. We used to chant the Harry part of this when he'd come into the store I worked at. He loved it. I remember one time when he was in and someone asked him where he was working. His reply was "I'm living off the fat of the land right now"...So, no...he didn't really have a daytime job. Or a night job...Or apparently a razor nor haircut money...Or if he did he chose to appropriate it elsewhere... Check out guitar george, he knows-all the chords Mind he's strictly rhythm he doesn't want to make them cry or sing They said an old guitar is all, he can afford When he gets up under the lights to play his thing And Harry doesn't mind, if he doesn't, make the scene He's got a daytime job, he's doing alright

I think that song even gets played in nunneries...It's such a classic. I'm waiting to hear an elevator music version...

Well, kaybli, there is an alternative to getting old. I don't recommend it.

Since we're mentioning guitarists, I wanted to add that I felt that Jimi Hendrix was underrated as a vocalist...
